New Delhi [India], April 27, (ANI): The women's doubles pair consisting of Tصند صند صند anisha Crasto and Shruti Mishra emerged victorious in a commendable manner; however, the injury-ravaged Team India couldn’t evade a 1-4 defeat at the hands of strong Denmark in their opening match of Group D. HS Prannoy, who won a bronze medal at the Asian Games, put up a strong challenge against Anders Antonsen in the men's singles match, yet ultimately faced defeat with scores of 15-21 and 16-21, as stated in the announcement.

India will now look to bounce back in their next Sudirman Cup tie against Asian heavyweights Indonesia, which will be played on Court 1 of the Fenghuang Gymnasium on Tuesday.
