Once the bowlers had finished their performance, Virat Kohli moved into the spotlight, and together with Krunal Pandya led the team to the verge of victory. The 119-run collaboration between Virat and Krunal stands as the highest partnership in IPL history for the fourth or lower wicket against Delhi Capitals. Ultimately, Krunal, who received the Player of the Match award, along with Tim David secured an unprecedented win.
Incidentally, this season, Virat Kohli has scored four half-centuries so far during run-chases away from home, and RCB have won them all, and what is even more incredible is that the ace batter has been dismissed only once in those innings.
