Shaheen Afridi Rewards: Gold-Plated iPhone Gift from Lahore Qalandars

On April 22, the Lahore Qalandars presented their team captain, Shaheen Shah Afridi, with a 24-carat gold-plated iPhone 16 Pro during a brief ceremony to recognize his commendable leadership and outstanding play in the Pakistan Super League.

Team owner Sameen Rana presented the customized mobile device with Shaheen’s name etched on it along with the team insignia. A clip of this event was posted online, capturing moments where teammates and personnel were enthusiastically supporting their leader.

Shaheen seemed astonished and quipped, "That’s quite heavy," as his teammate Haris Rauf cheerily responded, "No way, bro, that’s not fair." England’s Sam Billings was equally astounded, adding to the lighthearted atmosphere of the occasion.

In the meantime, the Qalandars are having a strong performance this season. After securing two victories in their first three matches, they are now positioned at third place on the leaderboard. Their conduct has been particularly noteworthy following the Karachi Kings' controversy over unusual presents during an earlier stage of the tournament.
