Ukraine Shifts Focus Toward Moscow: Some Russians Cheer This Move

The inhabitants of Russia’s main city are slowly starting to experience the repercussions of the conflict that Putin initiated in Ukraine.

Moscow has stayed undisturbed for an extended period, however, recent Ukrainian assaults are drawing nearer to Moscow. People living in these Russian frontier areas approve of this development. Individuals from border territories like Belgorod and Bryansk , which have been frequently targeted by Ukrainians, view these recent drone attacks on Moscow favorably as they perceive it as just retaliation: 'The inhabitants of the city will at last confront the danger they encounter every day.' This is clear from the recorded telephone conversations of Belgorod and Bryansk residents between March 29th and 31st, as reported by the Ukrainian military intelligence agency (GUR) , as reported by The Kyiv Independent . They ought to have targeted Moscow right away; then they could have made their move. It was heard on March 30th. Otherwise, only average folks endure hardship, while in Moscow, everybody continues to celebrate and sing.

The authenticity of the phone conversations has not been independently confirmed yet.

Furthermore, on March 11, Ukraine executed the biggest drone assault on Moscow since the onset of the full-scale conflict. On that day, 74 drones were intercepted before reaching their target over the Russian capital.

Ukraine’s military capabilities are set to get a major enhancement after the recent news of a newly developed drone being successfully tested. This particular unmanned vehicle boasts an unprecedented operational range of up to 3,000 kilometers. Will this development pose challenges for Russia?
