It was noted that preparations for the national dialogue and the consolidation of different agendas have been finalized throughout all regions, with the exception of one area.
The Executive Committee highlighted the dedication towards maintaining peace and stability, noting that regions formerly plagued by instability are now experiencing a gradual return to calm. This encouraging trend is reinforced by a rising number of insurgents laying down their arms and heeding the government’s calls for reconciliation.
The dispute with Somalia has been diplomatically settled, and the stance advocating for Ethiopia’s right to obtain coastal access is receiving growing global recognition, according to the Committee.
Economically speaking, the nation’s ties with global finance organizations have seen enhancement alongside an upsurge in the assistance they provide.

A significant standout was the performance of Ethiopian Investment Holdings, racking up 1.5 trillion Birr, representing an astounding 86 percent increase from the previous year’s figures for the corresponding period.

The "Education for Generation" program has brought fresh attention to education and healthcare, with more than 82 billion Birr allocated towards building 6,815 new educational institutions. The statement highlighted this effort includes restoring facilities damaged during conflicts.
The Executive Committee highlighted that Ethiopia is rapidly emerging as a preferred location for both travelers and international conferences, with over 66 significant events taking place within only nine months. To support this trend and enable the staging of prominent continental competitions, efforts aimed at developing sports facilities, such as world-class arenas, are currently in progress.
Efforts aimed at rejuvenating industries, promoting import substitution, and improving land usage are driving the country towards increased economic independence. Importantly, as stated, the number of individuals needing humanitarian aid has dropped by 86% over the last half-decade, with nine areas now able to satisfy their own emergency requirements.
